This entirely depends on the vision (and budget) you have for your project, so without this information any “per square foot” quote will be inherently inaccurate. We work with you to truly understand what you want, and provide an estimate to reflect that. Any changes or upgrades are controlled by you - we never mark up materials.   • HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?

    This is another question that is determined largely by the scope of the project. The usual driving factors are the size of the home as well as any custom features. An average STONESHORE HOMES custom build ranges from 10-14 months.

  • BUILDING SERVICES

    STONESHORE HOMES offers complete construction management. We will work with you from demolition and excavation through to completion. We have relationships with many skilled tradespeople whom we hire and oversee for your project. Our building management also includes monthly cost reports and budget updates, used to pay our trades as expediently as possible.

  • DESIGN SERVICES

    Our sister real-estate team MARIT & MURRAY can assist you in locating a lot. Once selected, STONESHORE HOMES can work with you to design a truly custom home. We get to know our clients to understand the esthetic they desire, then we work with you to refine the design over consecutive meetings. Our design package includes stamped building drawings that are ready to apply for a building permit.

  • WHAT INPUT WILL I HAVE ON THE DESIGN?

    You can be as involved as you are comfortable with during the design. We will work with you to design a home that truly reflects your desires and lifestyle. We want you to love your home, so naturally you have the final say.

  • WHAT FINISHES CAN I INSTALL IN MY HOME?

    STONESHORE HOMES has incorporated various materials and finishes throughout over 100 custom homes. We are capable of incorporating whatever design elements you desire. Check out our portfolio to see some of our past work.

  • HOW CAN I SEE MY DESIGN?

    STONESHORE HOMES uses design technology which allows clients to see and walk through a 3D rendering of their space. Our skilled team can manipulate design elements in real time so you can see changes immediately. No need to wonder what that door might look like 3 feet to the left - we can show you.

  • WHAT PERMITS WILL I NEED?

    Every project will have different requirements from the municipality. STONESHORE HOMES can represent you as we work through the necessary processes. Your project may need to go through the Committee of Adjustment and/or Site plan approval, and may need permits including but not limited to: site alteration, demolition, conservation, services, and building.

  • WHAT SIZE PROJECTS DO MAINLY DO?

    STONESHORE HOMES has overseen projects ranging from single bathroom renovations to 7000 square ft custom homes. The best way to find out if we are a good fit for your project is to contact us to schedule a complimentary introductory meeting.

  • HOW INVOLVED CAN I BE IN THE CONSTRUCTION?

    STONESHORE HOMES will oversee your project from start to finish, and we encourage our clients participation throughout. We will gladly meet with you on site throughout the build to discuss its progress. Any major decisions will be ultimately be made by you - with our advice of course.

  • ARE YOU A TARION BUILDER?

    Yes. All of our homes are registered under the Tarion Home Warranty Program,

  • CAN I REQUEST MY OWN TRADES?

    Yes, STONESHORE HOMES is open to working with other trades, especially if the client would prefer working with them. We will still manage their work and include their invoices in our monthly cost reports.

  • DO YOU HAVE A REFERENCE LIST?

    Yes. We have an extensive list of past clients and trades available for reference, which is available after an initial complimentary meeting.
